from falsity and vanity
i struggle in vain
but shortly
i shall learn from You
what in truth remains
beauty that is everlasting
comes from kindness of heart
knowing You are with me
and never do part
feeds the inner recesses
of the soul's inner desire
rescueing the afflicted
from this material fire
